2024
This project originated from our school laboratory teacher’s permission to select a project for the second term of the school year. We chose to create a perfume, as none of us had prior experience in perfumery.
This project was abandoned because it was completed successfully. The team and I were incredibly proud of the outcome, and we even shared samples with anyone who requested them.
Golden Mist was conceived by a team of three individuals, including Marcus Houlden, Elie Bakassa, and myself. The most significant challenge we encountered was determining the process of transforming a lavender plant into a liquid substance. We encountered numerous obstacles and had to conduct extensive research, particularly after our initial attempt resulted in an unpleasant odor reminiscent of pesto (The exact cause for this remains a mystery to this day).
The perfume is not available for purchase or trying. It was a school project and the team did not take it until the production stage.
After several months of hard work, we presented our project, Golden Mist, to the class and distributed samples. I’ve successfully recovered the slideshow used during the presentation, but I couldn’t find any trace of the preparation text.
